A Town House

A Town House

Why not choose a town house instead of an apartment, it offers a bit of both worlds.

Townhouses can be a multi-level building, designed like a house, but it comes with a strata title, where you own the building but share the land with others.

What Are Town Houses

They are basically small apartments, often located near public transportation, shopping centres, and other amenities. They often include one or two bedrooms and one bathroom, with access to a backyard or patio, offering you a place to relax after a busy work day.

Advantages

  • They are cheaper than apartment buildings, making them attractive to first-time homebuyers.
  • You can find them in quiet neighbourhoods with not much foot traffic.
  • A good choice for people who want to live in an area where there's plenty of space to walk around
  • Often located near restaurants, shops, and other amenities and in areas that aren't too busy, so you shouldn't have to worry about noise or crowds.

Disadvantages

  • They tend to be smaller than apartments, limiting space to store things.
  • Often have fewer amenities than a house.
  • Can be less expensive than other options, but they can also cost more than regular housing.
